People play by picking 6 numbers from 89 numbers and also by picking one bonus number from 89 numbers. As much as playing is free, those playing for free will only be able to pick from the first 30 numbers (1 to 30)
To be a winner, one has to predict all numbers correctly. If one successfully predicts 5 numbers and the bonus number for example, one will still not be a winner.
There is a new lottery for each day. The lottery for Monday is called Monday Lottery, the one for Tuesday is called Tuesday Lottery etc. Play on each lottery ends at 18;59 and immediately afterwards a live draw is held.
Picking of 6 winning numbers involves putting all numbered balls (1 to 89) in a transparent bowl (container) and roughly picking 6 winning numbers (balls). Picking a bonus number also involves placing 89 numbered balls in a containing and picking 1 bonus number (ball).
How much is available to be won depends on how many times did people. Per entry, YesFreeLotto allocates R0.005 (half a cent) towards pool money; meaning if people participate 5 million times, pool money will be R25 000.
